Have a problem with this site, in that it takes ages to switch between pages.Probably a good 10-15 seconds per page. It is only this site that suffers like this BUT,using Chrome if I use a VPN extension, it is as quick as every other site I visit. Anyone know why? And if there is anything I can do to fix it?

The functionality of the windows GUI deteriorates as you open more and more windows and tabs. Most browser suggest no more than three open tabs/windows at a time for optimal loading speed.
Last night was friday. busy night! This morning I had about 40 tabs open for the overflow. took about 1/2 hour of futzing to get any response time on my pc at all. This is not UU's problem or VBulletin's either. It is us the users cause this problem. You might try using different accounts for different interest groups; ie UU on my Tommy C Account, CHYs on BHO, IamNoMan on Achaic S. That might improve your performance. IDK.
