love your poetic playing, and watching you singing is always, even when it's sad, a moment of happiness...

"LAZY"
1924. Irving Berlin
arrangement by Eugene Ukulele 2015

(C)Lazy, I wanna be (F/C)lazy
I wanna be (C)out in the (Am)sun
With no (Dm)work to be (G)done
Under that (A7)awning they call the (Dm)sky
Stretching and (B7)yawning
And watch the (Em)world go (G7)drifting by

I wanna (C)peep through the (C7)deep tangled (F/C)wildwood
Counting (A7)sheep till I sleep like a (Dm)child would

With a (C)great big (C7)valice full
Of (F)books to read where it's (B7)peaceful
While (C)I'm killin (Am)time bein (Dm)la-(G)aa-(C)zy

Lovely, as usual.

Thanks a lot, John.

I've had several requests for me to demonstrate the way I play the melody line as intro and outro of the arrangement, so filmed a short video this afternoon. Hope this helps those who were interested to learn it. Cheers and blessings folks. x
