Port Townsend WA festival OCT 2015

This seems to be a growing festival with a great line up.
Split into 2 events over two weeks. Apparently the venue is an old WW1 army base, the grounds are supposed to be very beautiful.

Fort Warden IS a truly beautiful place. My wife and I go there frequently. Port Townsend is a pretty town with good restaurants, great taverns, and a gorgeous location on the water.

I've not been to the festival, but I've been to Pt Townsend hundreds of times (used to date a gal who lived there). Neat little town that is far enough from Seattle that they put a lot of effort into making their own cultural events. Centrum, the group putting on the festival, has done stuff like this for years and years. And yes, Ft Worden (and it's sister fort, Ft Casey) are very cool and an interesting part of US history.

Though I have no idea if he is involved with the festival, the resonator uke maker John Morton lives in Pt Townsend.

Now, if only they had a uke building class as part of it...
