I bought this as a used Uke for £130 from the auction site a month ago. It came in its original packaging with a good quality gigbag.

I was impressed with the build as soon as I unwrapped it. These are Portugese and this is the deluxe version.
Although it was listed as used it seemed unplayed and still had the Aquila string label tied to the headstock so it was as new.

Once I'd tuned it, re-entrant, I thought the C string sounded a bit dull so I ordered a set of Aquila Lava strings for it.
I was a bit disappointed with these at first. They sounded a bit thin and floppy but as they stretched they hardened and a much fuller tone developed and now I like them.

The original setup was a little high so I dropped the string height at the bridge and the nut. Intonation is now good all the way up the neck.
The edge of the nut was a bit sharp against the base of my first finger so I just smoothed it off with a needle file.

I have it laying by the settee and I can't resist just picking it up and noodling every so often.
It's turning out to be my go-to Uke and, in my limited experience, seems to be excellent value for money.
