View Full Version : Uke Sale: Cocobolo Concert, Kiwaya KS-1 w/Gotoh UPTs, Ohana SK-21M, Kala Pocket

02-20-2015, 09:58 AM
I've got 4 ukes for sale. UAS hit me hard and I ended up buying more ukes than I have time to play them. The Kiwaya I bought from a UU member here, but the other 3 were all bought brand new. I have barely played them, and with a baby on the way (less than a month to go!)...there will be even less time for me to play so I gotta let these go.

Pics and descriptions to follow...
Asking price listed, but reasonable offers also accepted!

Cocobolo Ukuleles - Concert #003
- Solid Honduran mahogany top
- Solid Nicaraguan cocobolo back and sides
- Strap button installed at tail end
- Nice padded gig bag included

There has been a lot of threads on UU about these cocobolo ukuleles lately, and everyone seems to agree that they're a great value for a solid, handmade uke.

Very pretty and unique cocobolo grain patterns. This uke sounds and plays great. It is in excellent, mint condition. No issues/scratches/blemishes. I bought this in May 2014.

These retail for $350.
I'm asking for SOLD, I'll cover the shipping within CONUS, Paypal gift or buyer to cover the paypal fees.

Kiwaya KS-1 soprano
- Mahogany laminate body
- Upgraded with Gotoh UPT tuners
- Bone saddle
- Strap button installed at tail end
- Gig bag included

I bought this in May 2014 from another UU member, who is the original owner and bought it from Fernandez Music. No issues with sound/playability, only blemish I see is a minor indent mark on the lower bout, which was there when I got the uke and I'll show in one of the pictures. Does not affect the sound/structure at all.

Very lightweight with extremely comfortable action. I don't think I've come across another uke with such easy playability. The upgraded Gotoh UPT tuners make tuning very smooth and stable. For a laminate, this thing has great volume.

These retail for around $256 and Gotoh UPT tuner upgrade is $80.
I'm asking for SOLD. I'll cover the shipping within CONUS, Paypal gift or buyer to cover paypal fees.

Pocket ukes are so much fun. I have this tuned to ADF#B, but they can also be tuned to CFAD or DGBE. This is in excellent, like new condition. No issues at all.
