I glue the fret board and peg head veneer on today. I have some gaps to fill in from the binding job. or maybe ill leave it and do better next time chalk this one up to experience. If I do fill in some of the imperfections could i use CA glue with some sanding dust or will it show the the finish(tru oil). IMG_0639.jpgIMG_0642.jpgIMG_0645.jpgIMG_0647.jpg

The binding was walnut . It didn't show up as dark as I thought it would.

IMG_0650.jpg Nut made from Corion solid surface countertop material.

I don't think those binding woes were as bad as you thought Michael from the earlier post. All that stuff can be filled including the back gaps to the sides. Believe me, nobody will notice except you... I love the shape of the body. The proportions just say "play me!". I'll bet it is gonna sound great.

It looks to me as though those gaps could be filled with CA and wood dust. The grain of the wood is quite "busy" so will help disguise any fixes. Apply the CA sparingly and make sure you sand/scrape it right back before applying the TruOil.
