I learnt this great traditional song by Romani singer Elias Akselsen, with whom I have had the pleasure of performing on numerous occasions. The song has been sung for generations among Norwegian and Swedish nomadic Romani travellers. I sing it first in the typical mix of Norwegian and Swedish, and then in English. The instrument is a Yamaha GL-1 guitalele, with Southcoast EFS strings.
