Slimmer than a Pono. Thicker than a Martin. Owing to the material it is quite slick.

Not at all, to me. Extremely playable (though not higher up the neck, past the 8th fret or so).

The neck seems very conventional. I have played Kalas, Kamakas, Koalohas,, Lanikais, Moores Bettuhs, Mya Moes,....
The Clara neck doesn't stand out as thin or thick.
