It's been a long 2 days but the wait is over. Better than I imagined. The pictures on the website don't compare to this beauty in person. My Opio shipped inside a tweed hard case that cradled her snug within the cases plush lining. This is my first experience with friction tuners and I was a bit worried. A majority of the reviews I've read, owners claimed they are difficult to tune. I did notice they were a bit loose but with the help of my multitool screwdriver, tuning was a breeze. Only time will tell I guess. I do plan on upgrading to Gotoh UPTs but I'd hate to lose the laser engraved K on the stock tuners. She plays warm and mellow as everyone described, just what I was hoping. The stock strings are soft and easy to play up and down the scale. I actually like these strings as they are very comparable to the Oasis and Worths I normally utilize. The grain front back side to side is stunning. I'm on the fence about the satin finish but I think it will grow on me. I did not have any adjustments done to the setup. It's came spec'd as factory shipped and I don't see any issues with it yet. All in all, I'm very happy with my decision. Enough talk, photos incoming.
