Today was U-day...received a Kanilea K-2 CP satin on my front porch this afternoon! Of course I knew it was coming...;-D

Just can't wait, so this will be short, more later...

Congrats Danno! Dontcha just love the pretty reddish hue of koa? My koa top Ohana is pretty too, sometimes I pretend it's an Hawaiian uke!
I'm curious (or nosey) why do you want to give the Martin away? (You can give it to me if you like)
I saw/heard Craig and Sarah's new Kanilea ukes last month...they wouldn't let me play em cause I kinda had some drool on my chin....

thanks, Doc, for blowing up those pic's! It looks really nice in the right light...I love that it has enough curl to look good, but not too wild, I've heard that straighter grain koa sounds better than the real curly type. Not that I could tell the difference.

Kanilea makes some of the prettiest ukes out there. The gloss tenor I had was stunning. congrats .

feels good, UAS is in remission...I pretty much have my main 2 in this Kanile'a and my Martin style 0.
