I had a hard time deciding between a 6 or 8 string uke, since I love both, but I don't want to break the bank. I decided to buy an eight string Kamaka first, then was half-planning on picking up the Koaloha six string Imaikalani HMS had and then pleading insanity and asking for forgiveness from my very patient wife.
The Imaikalani is cheaper than a Kamaka, and KoAloha doesn't even make an eight string, so I figured it was all a sound financial decision. Then in a fit of paranoia that since they don't show up that often that I might be too late, I check HMS last night and sure enough, the KoAloha is gone!
Who bought it? I know you're around here somewhere...
So, back to evaluating my options. I would like to get a MiSi installed, so I could just contact HMS and see how soon they could get another.
Or I see some on other sites, but I've never done business with them before and then I'd have to get the pickup installed later:

Or I go Kamaka and pick up one for two used ones the Eldery has:

Or I start trolling the Marketplace...
Any recommendations? Any other six-stringers I should seriously consider? Totally first world UAS problems I know...
