My pin router went to a new home today. To prepare myself for the separation anxiety that I knew would come, I moved it into the hallway on Monday. There is a huge hole in the corner of my workshop where it used to be :( Anyone else sold a much loved workshop tool and 'felt it' go?

PS: I have no regrets. Since I stopped building the electrics it had become redundant.

When I got out of the Navy, back in the mid seventies, I was an airplane mechanic, and I had a huge rollaway full of hand tools. But I went to college on the GI bill, and eventually went a whole different direction career wise. So at one point, I sold the whole rollaway and most of the tools in it. Twenty-five years later, I retired, got a job out at the airport, got my airplane mechanic's certification updated, and went back to work as an airplane mechanic. As I was shelling out bucks for new tools, I was thinking about that old rollaway rolling into the back of a pickup truck and going down the street so many years ago.

Frame a photo of it and hang it on the wall to remember the good times
