I just bought myself a baritone banjolele. The 4th string broke
while I was trying the learn a song. I know I was plucking and strumming way too hard so it's my bad. I ordered some La Bella Banjolele Nylon & aluminum wound on nylon strings. It also says on the front of the package "Perfectly Balanced Set." I know you know that each string has a number to let you know which string goes where. My question is:
Should I re-string my BU with the whole new set? Will that make a better sound? With the package saying that they are a perfectly balanced set I'm not sure. When I string my ukuleles I've just used left over strings from whatever. I basically have a bag of strings. I'm comfortable on the ukulele but a bit intimidated with this BU. My old piano teacher always said, "Practice doesn't make perfect-- It makes permanent." So I want to start learning how to play my BU with the right stuff on it. (There was a question in there somewhere I think)
