so i had a problem with my vox da5 amp and through many attempts to get an answer, i found that the circuit board was busted.

the warranty shop i took it to had a music shop right next door. so i figure id take a look.

thats where i saw the lanikai lcd-c. originally i was saving up for a pono tenor but when i saw this, it jus got stuck in my head. painfully, i walked out of the store still thinking of the tenor.

but it would not leave my head, so the very next day i went back and bought it. i searched online for some prices i might see, and it was around the $270-300 range. so i figure it should be around there.

all in all, i got out the door with uke in hand for $235. i quickly slapped on some d'addario strings and was happily strumming away. its so pretty to look at lol.

WOW! Nice bling, does she sound as pretty as she looks? Is that a solid top?
She sure is purdy. ;) Congratulations on the new addition.

yea its a solid cedar top.

since i only have my lanikai lu21t to compare to, the sound is heavenly. the usual songs i play sound so much nicer. i cant get enough. even when i put it down i jus like staring at it lol.
