so i had a problem with my vox da5 amp and through many attempts to get an answer, i found that the circuit board was busted.
the warranty shop i took it to had a music shop right next door. so i figure id take a look.
thats where i saw the lanikai lcd-c. originally i was saving up for a pono tenor but when i saw this, it jus got stuck in my head. painfully, i walked out of the store still thinking of the tenor.
but it would not leave my head, so the very next day i went back and bought it. i searched online for some prices i might see, and it was around the $270-300 range. so i figure it should be around there.
all in all, i got out the door with uke in hand for $235. i quickly slapped on some d'addario strings and was happily strumming away. its so pretty to look at lol.
