Going over around the middle of April. Any ideas where I could find some good one on one lessons for a decent price?

His website is here: http://www.ukulelestudio.com/Welcome.html

I would also say that Kimo is a good option, I can pm his contact info if you like. He's a fantastic instructor and incredibly gifted to boot.

Hey Howie... Upskydowncloud mentioned Jody Kamisato... Jody is a fantastic teacher and gives one on one lessons at a decent price. You might ask how I would know? I been taking lessons from Jody and not to mention I only picked up the ukulele 4 months ago. That's how long I been playing. If you want more info feel free to PM me anytime.

Troy Fernandez (of Ka'au Crater Boys fame) gives lessons as well, I don't know the price though. Send him a message through his youtube account...
http://www.youtube.com/user/tntmusic2729 if you're interested. Actually, if you do find out how much he charges, let me know too :-)

terry brown's ukulele lessons.

really nice guy
teaches a lot of contemporary hawaiian music but also teaches modern jawaiian on the radio. I took lessons from him for a while. he's well versed from taking lessons with ohta san, eddie kamae, to peter moon. he does this because he says there's always room to improve.
