I can't successfully upload my profile picture. Size is good. I tried direct off my computer, then put it on my server and used the url. No workie. Is this function working?

I'm sure the desktop has absolutely nothing to do with it, although my image happens to be there. The upload doesn't care where your image is located on your machine.

It happened to me as well, but I know the reason. It's in your actual user profile. The avatar is separate from your profile picture.
To upload an avatar, go into your user control panel and look under "Settings & Options". Click on "Edit Avatar" and go from there.

Cap'n, I wish that were true. Sounded good at first, a reasonable explanation. I tried to upload my 60x80 pixel avatar, and it, too, failed.
