Time to decide whether you want to give up any secrets.

When I play my uke in a long-sleeve sweatshirt, I can do all sorts of muting tricks and produce rhythms I cannot recreate without the sweatshirt on.

Does anybody else incorporate their clothing into their uke technique?

I don't. I usually push long sleeves when playing. The ukulele feels more secure in my right arm.

prefer t-shirts myself...

I haven’t used clothing to affect my playing but have been looking for for a shirt/tee-shirt that would not interfere and or damage my uke.
i have not found the right combo yet.
My wish list is
- a pocket on the left ( no button )
- No buttons below the chest or on the sleeves
- short or 3/4 sleeves

A short sleeve golf shirt is my norm for now.
I hadnt thought about trying to control and or use my cuff -- Hmmn?

Well, sorta.....I played topless one night and the audience clapped and even cheered.....
