I have an old model Mele Soprano that the bridge has lifted slightly. It has been that way for along time. Should I leave it alone, or bring it to someone to have it re-glued?

I would have it repaired before it flies off and possibly does damage to the top.

Do you have a picture? If the lifting is slight, its actually a pretty easy fix to do yourself. I've done it for one of my classroom instruments and a uke that I own, was pretty easy to do, even for someone like me that has very little building ability of any kind. Feel free to PM me or just post here if you want some detail.

Mele, you're in luck ... they warranty their ukes for life. Contact them and let them know what's up. They may even be able to correct other little things that are in the process of "going south" ... set her back up, etc.
