Thank you too.. yes I am aware of these two beatles playing the uke... I think harrison was first and gifted Paul a uke..certainly one of my favorites.. Happy Strummings as well

Sez here that Hoagy Carmichael performed JAPANESE SANDMAN on ukulele in the 1952 film Belles on Their Toes. I'll bet he noodled away at other times too. (I just happened upon that while searching for tabs.) Then there's Rocky Marciano and I wonder if his hands hurt?

That'd be Taj Mahal and Elvis Costello, Stan. I know Taj's uke is a Kala. Not sure about Elvis's.
