Song Help Request Trouble By Never Shout Never

So I figured the chords are Eb Bb and F I'm just havin trouble with the middle part where it's muted and unmuted I don't really understand how to play that.

muting it

you play the first chord Ab first then gently lay your fingers on the strings so it doesnt play a note, and you get the muted noise your looking for and just go with the strum pattern
