Hi everyone!

I accidentally snapped the G string on my ukulele and I ran out on them. However, I do have extra C,E and A strings. Would it be possible to replace the G string with the other ones? If so, which one should I use? All of them are the regular Aquila New Nylgut strings.

Thank all of you guys in advance!

In re-entrant tuning, the high G and the A string are pretty darn close in diameter-- I'm sure a spare A would substitute for a G just fine.

A lot of times, the G and A string will be the same string, but mentioned as a different diameter for marketing purposes. For smaller gauged strings, there's a +/- .0005 tolerance, so there is usually no difference between a .022 for an A and a .023 for a G.
