Contest Judges and Mentors: Uncle Kimo Hussey and Zanuck Lindsey from Hawaii, Izi Holokahi, Ben Ahn, John Nash and Kelvin Peralto from the Bay Area.

Only one pillar in the foundation of the contest is the actual contest itself. The desire of our organization is to develop, nurture, and mentor our keiki 'ukulele enthusiasts and build engaging relationships with the 'ukulele community at large. To help us achieve this the contest will have a required preparation session weeks prior to the contest. This session will allow us to engage the contestants and provide contest preparation feedback, mentoring and guidance. Our contest judges and mentors will serve as a key means to provide guidance during the preparation session and contest. We have assembled an all-star judge and mentor line up with Uncle Kimo Hussey and Zanuck Lindsey from Hawaii, Izi Holokahi, Ben Ahn, John Nash and Kelvin Peralto. All are very involved in ukulele communities and spreading 'ukulele aloha. The contest program is not only to support the kids before and during the contest but also after. We provide free workshops and other events that contribute to the continued support to the contestant’s musical growth throughout the year all the way up to the following years contest.
