I can't find Hilo brand strings anywhere.

Yeah, they are (were?) cheap, but I have a couple ukes I really like them on.

Did they go out of business? Or am I just looking in the wrong places?

Peter Hurney has a very limited selection for sale on the Pohaku website.

And a quick ebay search seems to show quite a few sets available...

Ah, thanks. I never thought to check ebay for strings!

Mele ukulele in Maui was a big seller of Hilo strings but I remember seeing something in their site that Hilo strings are not being made anymore.

I have some hilo tenor sets I would be able to sell if you want them. If you're interested send me a pm.

That's where I'd bought them before, but they don't have them now.

Doug, thanks for the offer! But I'm looking for standard soprano and re-entrant baritone sets.
