The long awaited video shoot has been scheduled for the week of the 13th July. It took me about a week to write the script and I am just going through the edit. This was a really interesting process because it forced me to think through what I do and how I teach it on my courses. Because I make extensive use of jigs and tools in the preparation of the neck I have had to deconstruct this for the amateur/occasional builder. However a second video title Tool Making for Luthiers is planed as a companion video to this one. The interesting upside is I have further refined my technique... always learning
