Toby is buidling me a Maple/Spruce Tenor with f-holes, a side sound port, and a cutaway that should arrive sometime later this year. From what I can tell from the videos, they sound amazing.

I was going to have Toby build me a uke about 18 months ago. Unfortunately, he fell on his bike and broke his collarbone and was out of commission awhile so I went in another direction. I do recall reading a comment here on UU that somebody said the placement/height of his bridge was a problem for them as it got in the way. Would love to check one out in person sometime...

Mine should be sent out today. Spruce/Maple baritone with full binding. Cutaway and radiused fretboard. Slight amber added to the finish. It looks stunning. Been trying to figure out how to get photos or the slide show posted here.

Thanks Dave, There's never a problem of jumping in with good news.

Here's a few, will like to upload the slideshow when I figure out how. Pretty incredible.

Wow. Patrick that is amazing. Congratulations. Looking forward to hearing it.

Congrats, Patrick! Sound samples would be great :)

Could you reveal the cost?

Stunning, Patrick! After you have had time to play it, I'd love to hear your thoughts on how the sound compares to a flat top uke. I'm curious to learn if it compares to a flat top uke like an arch top guitar compares to a flat top guitar.

Thank you all! I think it came to around 1700 US; sorry I really do forget. Sign of the aging process.

I do love the blondes Jon, for sure. Looking at his facebook page he has a standup bass he did in stained mahogany. Incredible shape and color. Will post when I get it and have played it.

Is it worth signing up for Youtube to post slideshows etc? Those photos are nice but the slideshow is really nice.

For the lovely design work and what appears to be excellent execution that's an extraordinary price. Hmmm...

Here is mine, steel string version with narrow nut for fast melody.
I love it!
