Very nice! That headstock is something else! (I also thought the Surf Wax guitar by Bohemian Guitars was an interesting idea. Wonder how it sounds?)
 
Allen, when I saw those photos in the new mag (great new publication BTW), it convinced me to explore a commission for one of your 8 strings. I already have a Mya Moa 6 string, next a Barron River 8 string, but where to next? A vintage Martin tipple?
 
That uke was a commission for a fellow that lives in central Australia. Past Alice Springs. He said that the uke would live a life of extremes with plenty of travel and bush camping. Gloss was going to be too difficult to keep looking good in such conditions.
 
Wow, there are some fabulous photos in there. Those instruments are one of a kind, I bet. Absolutely gorgeous, playable art!
 
Love the headstock on that Jason Kostal Jumbo guitar!!!
