i just thought this was an amusing conversation i had with an old pal (and washington DC intern) from highschool

there is a huge uke community

its alot of fun
i'm going to the world uke conress this june

I think we need a ukulele stimulus bill. ;)
 
I represent the Great state of Minnesota! (Where it is actually above freezing today AND the sun is out at the same time!)
 
Maybe this will finally end the surplus of non-playable ukes.

Nope -- I just got the new Oriental Trading catalog today and they have coconut ukes for $8.99. Something about "will provide the perfect background music for your luau." I think I need one.
