That sound

**WARNING, DUMB QUESTION AHEAD**

-How did kris fuchigami get that electric guitar like sound on his acoustic ukulele

-What amps should i use

got a link to the video or sound file you are referring to?

otherwise nobody knows exactly WHICH sound you are talking about.

Just copy the link and PASTE it INTO you message here and it will work. :)

You can get any acoustic-electric ukulele to sound like an 'electric guitar' with electric guitar amplifiers and/or distortion/effects pedals. Which one to choose doesn't really matter.. a cheap, generic way to start is getting a Roland Microcube or Vox Mini3, which are compact electric guitar amps with built-in effects and pedals.

However, the results will never be as good as using an actual electric ukulele that's built like an electric guitar.

Some performers make their acoustic ukes sound like an electric guitar - but it's not really the ideal.
They do it for showmanship and to mix it up a bit.
