Laser cut ukuleles

Hey all, I've been experimenting with laser cutting some ukuleles. They're kind of halfway between decorative and functional. I'd love to know what you think if you have some time to check them out.

I've using Diamond Head uses -- I know they're far from the best but they're affordable. Does anyone have suggestions for ukes that are on the cheaper end but still sound good? It's hard to invest right off the bat.
 
I prefer to think of them as a little of both. The wording was definitely ambiguous. but what I really mean is that they look good and you can play them, too.
 
I would be totally down for that. It would be a little daunting handling someone's favorite uke, but I think it could work out well.
