Hi everyone. New user here--though I've been reading these forums for a few months now.
I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a good luthier or repair tech in the New York City area. I have a concert Ohana that needs a nut adjustment or replacement. The A string lies too close to the edge of the fretboard. I thought I could get used to it, but I was wrong.
Because this is not a pricey instrument, I don't want to spend too much cash to fix the problem. Yet I don't want to abandon this uke over what seems like a simple issue to solve. If I can get the work done for $50 or less, I'd gladly pay.
Any suggestions?
