the seller, obviously hallucinogenic...says it's a "17 fret 5-string May Bell banjo"...I only see 4 strings and 16 frets. The scale looks to me like maybe concert scale. It's clear across town and they are asking $250, I think a little high judging by the condition.
A refreshingly honest statement to the heart of forums. Not always, but definitely sometimes. LOL!

There is such a thing as a Tenor banjo which also has four strings and a shortish scale although the proportions of the instrument suggest to me that its a Banjo Ukulele.
