My dear friends.

Wow very nice, I love that stuff. You said you were playing it, can you share the tabs or where I can find them as I would love to learn that.

We love you too Icelander53 :shaka:

Nice song!

I'll spread some love from Finland as well!

I woke up today and went straight to the computer with my morning coffee.. It's my third day as a member on this forum and I can't stop snooping around here.

Peace and love

Playing the CD is what I meant. The first track is the one I'd love to be able play. It makes me smile whenever I hear it.

Very good stuff. Chet Atkins.... moment of silent respect.....

Great song. I saw Tommy Emmanuel play last month, he puts on an amazing show.
Chet was Tommy's idol from an early age. He inspired Tommy to become the outstanding player that he is.
The two guitarists were friends for many years. A good write up is found here.

Great article. Thanks for posting that. Now, for some inexplicable reason, my eyes are a little watery!

BTW, has anyone here tried a thumb pick with their uke?

Good tune, almost any tune with Harp in it is good. Chet Atkins ain't no slouch either.

Thanks for the post. :eek:ld:
That would be the late, great Terry McMillan (on harmonica, conga, jews harp)... (blues harp is my first love!)

That was cool (no pun intended), thanks for sharing it Icelander. I've got some finger and thumb picks, the kind Aaron Keim uses and discussed in one of his videos. They sound good, but I'm a beginner and not too handy with them yet.
