I was lucky to have been able to make a trade with a local UU member...I had something he wanted and I didn't play much, and by chance, he had something he didn't play that I was looking for!

Waverly Street soprano banjolele!!! I've been enjoying it, hope he's been enjoying his new instrument, too!

Congrats! I like the armrest, that makes it look more comfortable to play. I need one on my ukes!

It has Aquilas on it, I'm itching to put Aquila reds on it...any comments?

It came with either Worth or Martin fluorocarbons initially. The Aquila nylguts might be too brash IMO. Enjoy!

You can fine tune it with strings. Aquila Super Nylguts the "standard" for banjo ukes, but, depending on the head and it's adjustment, they may or may not sound "brash." My concert does not.
