I've been on and off playing Ukulele a lot and i'm also new to the UU forms. I don't know if this is the correct place to post this but i've been trying figure out this chord progression i made up into a specific genre, but i have no idea what to classify it. I'll post the progression down below.

Amaj7(2,4,4,4)
-d,d,u,u,d,u(x2)

Gbm(2,1,2,0)
-d,d,u,u,d,u(x2)

Ddim7(1,2,1,2)
-d,d,u,u,d,u(x2)

Gbm7(6,6,0,0)
-d,d,u,u,d

Amaj7(1,1,0,0)
-d,d,u,u,d

Any thoughts will be appreciated. Thanks!

It sounds nice! For me, the progression has mostly an indie-folk-ish type of sound (think The Paper Kites (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M0IDiVQxZYg) or the TFioS soundtrack (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=prbntRmBgio)). The D,D,U,U,D pattern suggests a light-hearted theme like Surf (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3JvQwPxtNkw), but the chords give off a more somber tone like Pillow Talk (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yz6Cl4yThdY). This contrast is a nice balance of whimsicality and somberness, something that I hear a lot in indie folk songs.
