Not sure using it for instruments was it's primary purpose, but it has at least one instrument jack, is recheargeable, and At 50 watts seems like a versatile unit. Lots of factory refurbs available....hmmm! Anyone try it?

For $200 I thinkbI would buy a real amp. Something with more than a volume control on it. Just my thoughts.

Yeah, guess I didn't look at the features. Saw a refurb for $99. Wonder if one already had an external pre-amp/eq such as the Behringer ADI21, if it may work a little better? Also plug only 1/8"

I've used quite a few of those Ion amps over the years. In a pinch it would be an OK acoustic amp. It's really better suited as an easy make shift PA which is how I've used them.

I think I played through one of these at a small wedding gig. Guy said "Sure! We'll have a PA...." It did the job for about 20 people eating pupus. I wouldn't buy one, but the fact that it's rechargeable is cool.
