Trying a combination of Clawhammer and Balalaika picking .

The "claw " is not held as broad as when used on on a banjo and the thumb and finger in Balalaika picking are picking on an instrument similar sized to a concert uke . The Thumb and finger are held rigidly and the pads of the the digits are used . There is also a bit of Jarvo strum as well.....I've called it Ballpeen(a bit more rounded ?)and Claw as a nod to the Balalaika ,the Hammer part of Claw and a bit of Claw as well...Don't Shoot Me....I'm Only The Banjo Uke ....ermm...Player?

Bugger ....it is too fast at the start ...never mind....

Really love this. Makes me think of a Honkey-Tonk/Ramblin-On kind of thing.

Great Playing there CeeJay! Thanks for sharing! :)

Thanks Booli, it is a sort of what you said...

Any Time! BTW, what is 'Jarvo'? (I kind of inferred that it is what you call your own unique style or something, but I wanted to be sure) :)

Jarvo ?.....that's me ...and my style ...Jarvo is the standard shortening for my surname Jarvis...we is "Jarvoes" plural and "Jarvo" singular

and yes I call my daft thrashings "Jarvo Style"....self deprecating and dunce worthy..

Cheers Mate.
