As the title says, Kanile'a K-1 T DLX tenor uke. Circa 2009. Original owner. Very golden blond very curly koa, neck looks like matching koa on this one, and the photos don't begin to show the 3D effect of the curl, it looks deep and wet under the UV gloss finish with very high chatoyance. Has a few minute dings in strum area and a couple very tiny bumps on the top edge, very hard to see except in angled direct bright light. It looks like golden honey in the sun, if the honey was super flamey. I found a DLX on Reverb that matches the specs, again except for the koa look on the neck. I see them new running $1,300- 1,500. The stickers are just for fun and are not hiding anything, will peel right off. I took the little silver honu off the headstock no problem. These are the ones from Jockomo on eBay, super thin PET.
Includes black basketweave Uke Crazy case with built in hygrometer. I don't usually have much luck here so will also post to Craigslist and would prefer a local Los Angeles or OC buyer who can see it in person and play it, it rings like a bell, and whenever one says "ding" seems people want to take $400 off the price and I can barely find them. I have moved to radius fretboards only on my tenors and this is flat, and I only really use two tenors. If you're looking for a sweet and gorgeous player come see it in person and play it. (I will also ship for reasonable cost, it's just a pain).
Asking $900 OBO.
I also have a sweet vintage 70s Japanese Yasuma all solid mahogany blueprinted copy of a Martin tenor for sale I will be listing. Lovely airy ringy Martin sound, less than half the price of a vintage Martin.
