ukulele charity

hey i was thinking about starting a charity, in which people donate ukuleles for an underprivileged school in hawaii. i was just wondering if anyone had any schools in mind that they feel should be the receivers of these ukuleles. also, i was just wondering if anyone would be interested in participating in this meaningful project. it is just an idea, but my friend and i want to make this a reality. ps. if there already is a charity like this, please let me know because i thought this would be a nice unique idea

This exactly what interested me in uke.
I teach children with special needs and we are super tight on resources, I teach 17 different subjects as well! I started a Music Class a few years back and it has REALLY helped numerous children! Some people caught wind of it and donated a few items to the school, one being a cheap uke, thsu the games began! I'm looking into trying to find funding to get a few more ukes by the end of this year, we'll see; especially since the economy is so goofy.
