Hi, everyone. I have been playing ukulele for about 2 years and had not looked for a forum until today. I am also a mandolin player and happen to find a used A style mandolin built by Bradford Donaldson. I found this forum during my online research to find out more about him. I am sorry to see that he has not been on this site for acouple of years. I hope all is well as he appears to be a greatly respected luthier and friend. I hope I get to play one of his ukuleles someday.

Had anyone here been aware that he also made mandolins?

Thanks!

Welcome! I know he also makes Native American style flutes and guitars. I have one of his ukes and it is beautifully crafted and is a keeper. He was intending to split his time between Hawaii and Cannon Beach, OR, and had some settling in to do before he thought about getting up to speed on building again. He may be too busy fishing or surfing now. He's a good guy. Dusty Strings in Seattle used to front his work.

Thanks so much for the welcome! I look forward to great discussions.
