Hello everyone!

I'm going to buy new strings for first time in my life, and I found out that there are titanium strings,so I've looked them up in youtube to see how they sound and i think it's great. But I'm really curious about the Low G string and I'm thinking about buying the titanium set and one low g string.

Have someone tried that?if so,how does it sound?
thanks guys!

Sarah Maisel's Signature Set is exactly this; titanium-nylon strings with a fluorocarbon low G. She doesn't like wound low Gs, and that's the set that works for her playing and tonal needs. Together, it sounds great.

You can easily do that with a wound G string if you like and get some nice results as well.

The best part of strings is that they can be swapped out when the mood hits. Sometimes new and different types of strings are wonders, and other times they make you wonder why you changed at all. The best thing is that strings are not permanent. It's all part of the fun of experimentation.
