Here is a tune I picked up out of an old ukulele book while I was teaching myself how to play. The title in the book is actually Dreamy Kalua, but when I did a translation search I could not find a translation for Kalua. My sister suggested that perhaps people in the 1930's where probably hearing Kalua but what people were actually saying was KAIlua...Since I grew up in Kailua, Oahu, I'll hedge by bets that that is what they REALLY meant.
