I've had a real run on all Australian timber instruments these past few months.

This one in Master Grade Blackwood with a King Billy soundboard (Athrotaxis selaginoides) . Head plates, fret board, and bridge are Gidgee.

Tuned gG, cC, ee, aa using Worth strings.

Beautiful instrument! Thanks for posting the photos. I really like the blackwood.
 
Beautiful wood and as always the instrument looks great. Was the decision to use pegs made by you as a design feature or was it the choice of the customer?

Let's see now...........OMG, :drool: :iwant: :worship: :love: ...reached my limit of 4.
 
The tuners are the 4:1 geared Peg Heads. Used to save space and weight, and the client has specified them on a few instruments I've built for him.
