Ok, I am posting these at the request of others. Standard disclaimer: I usually only play for my own enjoyment. These videos were made with my phone, no external microphone, bad acoustics in the room, and I suck. I did try to get a couple of different playing styles in. I find I am only allowed 1 video per post, so I will try posting as links first.

I usually only play to the displeasure of others.

Sounds great, you have nothing to be ashamed of. My CFO does want to have a word with you about putting ideas in my head.

Nice job, I enjoyed it.

No disclaimer was neccassary, sounded great. I followed your build thread and throughly enjoyed it. You were correct when you said that Fluke screamed out to be a 5 string.

I have a 5 string and I throughly enjoy the chimey sound that one extra string produces. I have a wound C string on mine along with a wound G. I know you are dealing with the plastic fretboard issues and can't go that route.

Great job, very well done on all counts, love it.

Ok, so I've spent a few days with this thing now and here are my final impressions. This conversion transformed the instrument, and I can tell it will be my go-to Uke for the majority of my daily playing. The Fluke is a great instrument to begin with, and now I feel it is better. Granted, this may just be because this is my first 5-string experience. However, I knew I was taking a risk in modifying it, but the risk paid off. Musically the Fluke body handles the double course very well; at least as well as my Ohana 8- string does. The fretboard and string spacing do not feel crowded at all. If you have the skills to do it, I recommend the conversion. Next week I will be near Magic Fluke Company and I will try to drop by and show it to them.

I've bought and built a lot of instruments over the years and I can honestly say that my statements are not due to "glowing over a new instrument syndrome." This thing is a winner.
