Figured I would post here as I'm sure many of you may have used these products. I am looking to do a nice polish of my stansell custom which is shellac finish, and the recommendation currently is novus #2. Just trying to get back that shine/gloss and take care of some of the superficial surface scratches from playing.
Virtuoso is also highly regarded - for those builders that have used both, which one have you found more effective? I will probably do the same thing on my hoffmann which is lacquer, but in about 6-8 months or so on next string change, jerry recommended virtuoso, but would love to hear your experiences using the products above.
