I'm wondering if any of you know of an app, where I can identify a note and find all chords where that note is at the bottom of the chord formation. For example, if I select a C, it'll show me C major chord where that C note is the last one you'd play when you're strumming a chord.

I'm asking because for me this would make it a lot easier to construct a song. I can figure out individual notes, but I have a harder time with chords.

Thanks!

I am not sure exactly what you are looking for or which platform but I have an iPad app I really like. It is called Ukulele Toolkit. It has a tuner, metronome, scales, chords, and chord sets. It has been very helpful to me so far.

GuitarToolkit on the iPad is pretty good for this kind of thing. I doesn't do exactly what you're asking but it will show you C chords all up the neck. This can really help to find sequences that don't move a lot of fingers at once.

thank you everyone--I will give it a shot!
