Thanks, friends! VegasGeorge, first I asked Siany to record herself on video and to send me the file via MediaFire, a file sharing website. Next I recorded myself singing the harmony part. I like to use GarageBand to do any audio editing, so I combined our audio tracks in GarageBand, tried to synch our voices as closely as possible, and experimented with the volume of our voices until it sounded okay to me. When I was happy with the audio, I then sent it to iTunes.

I then edited our two videos using Final Cut Express so that we could appear side by side, and then replaced the two separate audio tracks with the edited one. This one was a little tricky because I didn't want my ukulele to block Siany's, so I turned my ukulele into a half-transparent one.

This is the process I use in most of my videos. Shoot a video, edit the audio in GarageBand, and then combine the video and edited audio track using Final Cut Express.
