That is a beauty!!! Good luck with the sale!

Hi, Beautiful uke. PM'd you!

Hello folks
first, thank you for the cool comments on the Kanilea-it is a wonderful and classy Uke.

not interested in trades-i would keep the K instead!

gotten heavy into mandolin over the past year-just purchased a varnish Collings-raising funds to pay it off.

thank you
d

When was this built?

Sam
I'm thinking 2013 but an email with that serial number to Kanilea could confirm(I would guess the first few digits 0313 would mean March 2013).
Sylvan Music in Santa Cruz had it a very short period, I was looking to buy a Turner Compass Rose from them, had a friend who lives there to go by and play the two Turner models. He called me up at the store and said "forget the CR, you need to highly consider this Kanilea". I know the store manager there due to past buys in years past, talked with him, he confirmed my friends thoughts on this Kanilea. So, it was packed up and shipped to me. That would have been around May 2013 or thereabouts. Its been with me ever since.

Its taken a while for me to list it for sale. I've moved into mandolin more and , well, you know how all that kinda stuff falls. Married, two girls, one just in high school with another one year behind. I'm working to get things dropped in place for the longer haul. Soon, MAS and UAS will not count(lol).

This has been an awesome little Uke. Its just real cool and has that Kanilea touch for sure.

thanks for the interest folks

just sold this folks, i had brought it to work to remove strings and steel wool the frets and use some Fret Doctor on the fretboard, and just do a general check over since i had not played it in a while(been busy with mandolin). cleaned it really nice, put the PHD strings back on, and my goodness.........................this Uke rocks! slides, hammers, pulls, it is so clear and has such a sweet note quality.

anyways, Michael, you got yourself a rockin' Uke

thank you to all for the interest and kind comments,
d

**i will ship it tomorrow, once it arrives and Michael has it in hand, i will remove this thread**
