Maybe this belongs in the MARKETPLACE but I'm just trying to get an idea of what a UT-3K goes for these days and I cannot find anything listed anywhere in the shops, internet, etc.

I'm guessing at least $2880 new.

Thanks for the listing. i couldn't even find that. Sure can't find any available for sale though. May be the "at least $2880" is accurate. Probably higher now if hard to find.

Check out. Www.mapleleafmusic.com.

Chris is the owner...He's terrific. It's located in Brattleboro, Vt. He works with a great luthier. Instruments come set up well in mint condition. They have Collins ukes.

Thanks for the site. Looks very good. They don't list any UT-3s at all though. Same as I'm finding at other sites.

You might try posting a WTB thread here and on MandolinCafe.com. I've seen some really nice ukes all along the price range there as well as here. Bought my first uke on Mandolin Cafe before I knew that UU existed!

Check with both HMS and Maple Leaf to see if they have any coming in. Not sure if you're open to concert size or not, but HMS has a stunning UC3KSB. Have had my eye on it for sometime and hope it's somehow still available toward year-end when I can pull the trigger.

Nobody does sunburst better than Collings and very few do it as well.
