Actually v3 would be easier to play, all major chords. Or you can try this version (http://www.tropicalstormhawaii.com/cgi-bin/view.cgi?pid=song&song=lj/stand_by_me.txt) . . .

y song, "Wantin' Some Sunshine" is just three chords repeated through the entire song. It used to be very popular when I played it "live" in the early 1990s. I just re-recorded it last weekend. It is played... D... C... G... repeated in an easy beat through the whole thing. IT is meant to sound like raindrops.

It is the song that starts automatically on the site.

Nantes by Beirut is also very fun to play...
it was my first song on the ukulele (also on youtube).
it's just Dm, C and F throughout the whole song.:o

There are alot of C G Am F songs that are easy to play. There was a thread with a list of songs with that chord progression if you want to search it up.

Electric Avenue, Chain of Fools, Exodus, etc., all have just one chord throughout. Can't get much easier than that.

Especially if you make that one chord a C6 (or Am7, as the case may be). :D
